An interesting report has recently been issued by US and UK officials. Apparently, Gaddafi himself is not a target in their continued air strikes and bombings. The fire power is actually directed at his troops and Libya’s air defence systems. According to the UK’s chief of defence staff Gen Sir David Richards, targetting the Libyan leader (Gaddafi) is “not allowed under the UN resolution”. Over the weekend Libyan reporters say that 64 people were killed by this strikes, and the figures could be more as they have not yet been fully verified, but not to worry, fortunately Gaddafi was not one of them.
Please tell me if I’ve missed something. US and European forces are bombing Libyan people because they want to help get rid of the tyrant “Gaddfi”. To do this they can kill everybody in the country except the very man they are after. Am i the only one still left wondering what it is they are truly trying to do?
