They called them blessings. Money, cars and houses. Things that literally anyone can have.
Unbelievers have cars. Atheists have houses. So what exactly is the point of blessings of this nature if you don’t need God in order to acquire them?
Surely a blessing must be something that comes exclusively from God.
Peace and joy are blessings. Man does not have the ability to give such gifts. That is what separates God and men.
They say God does not want his children to suffer. They say God wants his children to be happy and live a comfortable and enjoyable life. But how true is that?
Did God’s son suffer? Did God’s son live a comfortable and enjoyable life? How about his disciples? Were they rich and “blessed” with money, chariots and houses?
If you want to be a son what makes you think you will be any different? If God’s son is the shepherd that we are supposed to follow surely we should expect a life similar to the one that he lived.
They manufactured blessings because they knew that’s what men wanted.
They told them the blessings were meant for only certain people.
They told them it was something they were either born with or born without.
They said it was decided from the beginning. It was something they could do little about.
They said some were created for glory and others were not……..and they called it Destiny.
